They are finally here! Our fabulous block printing kits contain everything you need to print your own textiles at home. We have packed all the bits and pieces inside a recycled cardboard box featuring a design made with the actual kit's block motifs. The set comes with a ready-to-print tea towel, but the fun doesn't need to end once you are done with this! You can print onto other fabrics, and create anything from cushion covers to fabric lampshades. 


The blocks can be washed and used over and over with any other block printing inks or even chalk paint, so you can paint onto paper too and make wrapping paper, notecards, wallpaper or anything else you can think of. 

We have designed 3 simple blocks which offer a huge range of pattern possibilities when combined in different ways.

Our kit includes:

  • 3 Rosewood hand carved blocks made by our artisans in Jaipur
  • Stripe block is 9cm x 3.5cm
  • Small circle diameter is 3cm
  • Half circle is 9cm x 4.5cm
  • Cotton drawstring bag in our dot dot print
  • 2 pots of Pebeo Setacolour opaque water based fabric paint ( Sky Blue & Cinnamon)
  • 1 x 100% off white cotton tea towel, made in the UK, 78cms x 48cms in size (can slightly vary)
  • 2 x foam stipplers with wooden handle
  • Little guide to Block Printing
  • Printed cardboard box

Please note the blocks have been individually carved and slight variations may occur.

We advise you to use any old fabric under your tea towel when printing, as colours might transfer onto your table underneath (colours are water based).

To fix colours, iron on the reverse side of the fabric for 5 minutes. After ironing, colours will be resistant to washing at 40°C.

Our paints are made in France by Pebeo, a company that has been making paint since 1919. These paints have been selected as we believe they are made with the best pigments and offer excellent covering.

About

The blocks provided in these kits have been hand carved by our artisans in Jaipur. The team have used the same wood and followed the same techniques to carve these, as per the blocks they use to print our collections. The blocks have been oiled to stop them from soaking too much water when you wash them after each use, to ensure you can use them time and time again. The printed drawstring bags provided to store your blocks have been made with scraps from our collections, helping us use every bit of fabric. The paints supplied have been chosen because of their high quality, to help you achieve a beautiful print at home.

International Deliveries

Please contact us before placing your order if you would like us to deliver to you so we can give you an accurate cost.

We aim to process all orders of goods that are in stock within 1-3 days after receiving your order confirmation.

The estimate delivery time after your order is dispatched is 2-3 working days for UK orders.

Returns & Refunds

Items can be refunded within 14 days of your order being received.

We cannot accept returns unless we have been contacted beforehand and the return has been agreed. Please email orders@ainoah.co.uk

Provided items are returned unused and in perfect condition we will refund the full amount for the style minus the initial shipping costs, unless your order is damaged/faulty.

We recommend using a recorder or trackable postal service as any returns are at your own risk.
